Health tech company Medbridge acquires motion capture specialist Rehab Boost
Medbridge, a Seattle-area health technology company, has acquired Rehab Boost, a Miami, Fla.-based startup that develops motion capture technology for physical rehabilitation program providers and patients.
- Founded in 2020, Rehab’s technology helps provide feedback based on real-time analysis of body movement.
- Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Medbridge will relaunch Rehab Boost as Medbridge Motion Capture.
- Paul Jaure, founder of Rehab Boost, will join Medbridge as head of AI, while Garth Savidge, chief commercial officer at Rehab Boost, will take a role as director of commercial operations for Medbridge.
- Medbridge originally launched in 2009. The company, led by former Accolade exec CEO Donovan Campbell, offers various digital products for healthcare professionals.
